My little girl read out some colours aloud today. It was the first time I’d
heard her a) string more than one word with another b) Identify colours
other than yellow.
This morning she was sat on my lap and we counted out Blue (Boo), Purple (Pu
ple), Yellow and Orange (Owange), it was really touching and rumour has it
that my eyes were glistening slightly.
Well done Eden, what a clever girl and you’re only 18 months old.
She was also not so clever by keeping me up past 4am this morning. I think
she wanted her Mummy, but we’ve decided to get stricter and not allow her
into our bed. I took point last night and was seemingly up every half hour
between 1.30am and 4.
She got her own way in the end and slept in our bed. She was promptly
laughing and saying “Mommy”, “Da da” which at that time of the morning is
cute for about 10 seconds.
