I think I’ll give moveable type a go.

Whilst this blogger.com stuff is OK, it’s got it’s limitations. I do need
something where I can open the hood and see what’s going on.

The thing that I’m missing the most is more advanced email->blog features
such as image uploading etc. If MT doesn’t have it then at least I’ll be
able to edit the codebase direct and write my own email parser, without
having to second guess what is going on at the Blogger.com end.
