Well, probably and I thought I’d better get it in quick, just in case.
Anyway, the O’s just won their second game of the season, away to Bury, 2-1. So that’s 2 games played and 2 wins, this is A Good Thing.
We were at the first game of the season, at home to Maclesfield last Saturday.
It was the first game in the new west stand and we have tickets for the gallery, which you enter through a bar that overlooks the pitch and ironically the bar couldn’t serve beer during the match on Saturday. Apparently they need some blinds to cover the windows as beer cannot be consumed within site of the match. This due to anti hooligan laws from the bad old days. Teething troubles only though, it’s brand new and obviously not 100% finished.
Our seats are great, slap bang in the middle, just over half way up. Karl took a photo from it (below), with his new phone. B. Hearne was sitting up in the gods on the boardroom level directly above us and it looked as if there was another level above that, office space I guess.
Cathie came along for her first game and overall I think she liked it, as a one off.
