The London Freecycle Network is open to all who want to “recycle” that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it’s a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you’re looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are encouraged to join the network too, so they may even pick it up for you!
One constraint: everything posted must be FREE.
NB: This group accepts members from London, England only. If you are outside London, please find your local group by going to the FreeCycle Mother site freecycle.org.
Looks like I found a place to dispose of lots of hardware then.

1920’s black upright “Wagner” piano. Good condition but in need of tuning.

For all of you who like the idea of freecycling take a look at this new site which makes
it all a good deal easier! Its called
GreenGonzo - Freecycle Search at http://www.greengonzo.com and it provides
a searchable database of things people are giving away in the UK.
