The first half was promising with 3 or 4 *very close* chances, but Rochdale got 2, the second being from a fantastic free kick about 10 yards out of the box. Once again Orient go to sleep in the second half and we drop down to 4-0. Efe came on as super-sub again and got on consolation but there is no doubt that it was not a great performance.
Ok it was a poor performance but it comes off the back for three win out of three and overall I’m feeling good for the coming season and I’d bet that Ling is feeling positive (less so after today of course). However, the poor performance did NOT excuse some of the negative shouts that were coming out of the West Stand (directly left of the Gallery) this afternoon. One guy shouted back ‘get behind your team’ and got some pretty agressive abuse in response, I just don’t understand it.
