The Landmark Trust’s Martello Tower, Aldeburgh

General

Karl and I went away last week for a few days to discuss business strategy without the normal daily interruptions.

We stayed in a cool fort-type place that has been done up by the Landmark Trust called the Martello Tower (actually the type of Fort but now this particular ones name). Apparantly there are loads all along the South and East coasts and they were built to keep out Napolean.

Anyway ours was the most Northerly one, about 20 miles north of Ipswich.
Karl’s blogged it too, with Photos.
