I had a lovely time away with my family this weekend over the Easter break. We stayed at a privately owned (and rented by us direct) static caravan on a Haven Holidays park in North Wales near Criccieth. We easily avoided all of the supplied “entertainment” and restaurants on-site and just used the place as a base to explore the local, very beautiful, surrounding area.
On one of our excursions - the longest one, about 20 miles North to Caernarfon to have a quick nose at the castle - we employed I Spy to stop the kids moaning and after a few turns they really to into it. Eden had us stuck for ages with her L word.
Leather?
Lines?
Leaves?
and so on.
Nope we couldn’t get it and it took us ages to coax the word from her which turned out to be….
Lellow Flowers!
So there you have it phonetic I Spy from my 4 year old girl.
