The summary of my development skills gained in commercial environments since 1998 is:
- PHP, MySQL
- XHTML, CSS, Javascript
- Linux, Apache, TCP/IP, Sysadmin
On top of this I have considerable business, management & sales experience being self-employed business owner since 2002.
On the community side of things I have spoken on Symfony, the PHP5 development framework, in 2007 for Bristol’s Skillswap and early 2008 at a PHPWM meeting and am currently considering new speaking opportunities. I have had a couple of PHP articles published on PHP Builder (back in 2000 so a tad out-of-date now) and I also occasionally blog on PHP and other web matters on this site.
The sort of projects that I am interested in taking on are either new bespoke development projects where Symfony can be used or the maintenance of existing php based web apps that require new modules or functionality. I work with my development team, including a full-time project manager, from offices in Worcestershire though I am happy to come onsite for project meetings. To be clear: I am not willing to take onsite contracts, sorry.
